  1. I’m surprised that Richard Harrington doesn’t know about Eye-Fi’s direct mode. When traveling, dump your images wirelessly to your iPad, select them for your blog, and connect your iPad to whatever network you use. It’s easy and slick. Wireless tethering is also handy (though a little more work to keep the connection alive).

  2. Hi, I have to say it was quite disappointing to listen to the comments on the Eye-Fi products. Eye-Fi provides a solution to directly transfer your shot from the card to your IPad without any other network present. I am using this “Direct Mode” to provide me with immediate feedback about the shot beyond the small screen on the back of the camera.

    The comments make me wonder how reliable the rest of the information is you get from the show. I have been listening for a couple of years now, but I will need to be more suspicious about the recommendations and comments given by the hosts. They shouldn’t really talk about stuff they do not know. Or least prepare more seriously.
